It’s an innovative passive tone control that simultaneously manages three different filters: high, medium-high and low. Its features offer great advantages, especially when using the amplifier for clean sounds. Indeed, it is in this setting that it expresses the maximum detail, variation and efficiency.
Increasing the gain in the amp the Sexy Tone is more focused in the section of medium and high and was able to reduce their effectiveness.
As shown in the figure, the filters exclude themselves when entering the control range for the next filter, thereby concentrating the Tone Stack on the desired frequencies.
In this way it will be possible to obtain a very fine control of your gear, especially using stompboxes, where the intervention required to amplifier’s tone control is just a fine correction of the general sound.
A few of the reasons why we'd use this amp:
• Single control, simple and effective.
• High spatial and richness in sound details
• Improved reading and very easy to obtain optimal sound with pedals.
The ManneDesign Newport 4T is a fourstring bass with active electronics. Its design is inspired by Andrea Ballarins Custom Shop bass instruments of the Italian factory Manne. It is comfortable to play up to the necks highest frets through its clever construction. Two different pickups are responsible for the tone of the bass. The ManneDesign Jazz Bass pickups in conjunction with the mahogany body, give a bass-heavy sound. There is a ManneDesign humbucker at the bridge. It has a slight emphasis on the high mids. If it’s played on its top in fingerstyle with resting thumb, the sound get a slight vintage tint. With the Pan control the overall sound from both pu:s can be continuously blended into each other.
With a two-band active EQ, the sound can also be adjusted. If the bass pot is turned to the left, there is an aggressively-donating sound. The sound is not undifferentiated, even at maximum emphasis on the bass. The treble pot allows nuanced accents or reductions in the presences. The deep timbre of the instrument is very good for rock, metal and related musical styles. The material quality and processing of the bass is very good. The one-piece mahogany body and solid flamed maple top have an uniform grain. A thin black Binding completes the elegant design. The clear lacquer on the Canadian Rock Maple neck fits tightly and without noticeable gaps in its version. It is connected to four Torx screws fixed to the body. It is noticeable that the front connecting screws do not directly screw into the neck. They engage in a metal plate that is screwed to the neck and extends deeper into the body than the neck itself. Developed by Manne this system guarantees maximum strength. Moreover, in this way a very short part of the neck is fitted into the body. Thus, the bass can be played comfortably and smoothly even at the highest frets.
The neck has a 34? scale with a rosewood fingerboard and 24 jumbo frets. The neck is relatively thin and well suited for bass players with shorter fingers. The underside of the first fret measures 20.2 mm and at the end of the 12th fret (octave) 23.4 mm in thickness. The nut width is 40mm. The width of the neck at fret 24 is 60mm. Both ManneDesign pickups work almost hum-free. The closed diecast tuners grip very well and ensure a good tonal sustain. The covered access to the truss rod tension is on the headstock.
The factory fitted D’Addario XL strings terminate in a classic, four-screw bass bridge. The strings height can be adjusted on the riders. The right tools for all adjustments are included.

KOR Trilogy is a Triple Overdrive pedal with the channel Edendrive + channel Distortion ( Leadstar or DP9 with selectable HiGain and LoGain ) + a cleanboost with effects loop!
Each channel has two modes of operation,Modern or Vintage, for a variety of sounds ranging from DUMBLE to TWEED to BLACKFACE all the way to those MARSHALL HI -GAIN sounds.
All 3 channels are completely independent and adds up all in a single stomp box, to get all the classic sounds guitarist needed especially in the Live situations!
SECTION 1 - EDENDRIVE (right - white knobs )
DRIVE - Controls the gain of the input stage .
VOICE - Check in gain of a given curve of the mid-frequency , it is so interactive with the GAIN control determines the VOICE of your instrument , the higher the level of VOICE is up, the sound becomes more present and aggressive.
TONE - Controls the level of high frequencies.
LEVEL - Controls the volume level of output .
SWITCH 1 - This 2-position control selects the type of overdrive , is interactive with the GAIN control , the more the gain is taller than the differences between the two positions of the switch will be evident , even in the volume of output :
Modern - Overdrive based on the famous DUMBLE OVERDRIVE SPECIAL .
Vintage - Overdrive very warm and dynamic , useful to overdrive the input of your amplifier, plays a sound comparable to the glorious vintage Fender Tweed .
Section 2 - LEADSTAR (central - black knobs )
A combination of an Overdrive and Distortion of upper harmonics, this is the concept that underlies the Leadstar, warm sound and dynamic but that sings in single notes as a distortion. Try using the volume control on your guitar, you will go from a clean sound to a saturated sound like a tube amp.
GAIN - Controls the gain of the input stage
TONE - Controls the level of high frequencies.
LEVEL - Controls the volume level of output .
SWITCH 2 - This 2-position control selects the type of distortion, is interactive with the GAIN control, the more the gain is increased the differences between the two positions of the switch will be evident, even in the volume of output .
Modern - Modern and aggressive distortion rich in harmonics, sounds great for LEAD .
Vintage - Dynamic Overdrive suited to Rock / Blues, useful to saturate the input of your tube amp , playing a sound comparable to the glorious vintage MARSHALL .
SWITCH 3 - This control sets the gain of the lead channel on its different sets .
High - High gain, for modern sounds and aggressive.
Low - Low gain for sounds more ' dynamic and blues.
Section 3 - BOOST ( left - black knob )
BOOST - Controls the output level (+18 dB) Boost driven by pedalswitch to the left, and placed after the Overdrive / Distortion and serves to increase the volume , for example, during a solo. Its operation is independent and completely linear, ie does not add or distort the sound of your guitar.
This effect send is placed before the boost is activated when you connect a jack to send and only works when the BOOST active , allowing you to simultaneously activate other effects .
Send - Effect send , connect it to the input of other effects ( such as a delay) that will be activated at the same time to BOOST when you want to turn up the volume for a solo. Return - Return effects, plug the return of the effects
LINE FUNCTION SELECTOR
It's possible to divert the output signal of your TRILOGY between the two outputs Output ( LED off) and Send (LED on ) to select for example two amps or two chains of different effects. In this case the Boost circuit is automatically cut and the circuit is completely true bypass . ( In this configuration, you should not connect anything to the outlet return) .
ON / OFF - The pedal is TrueBypass , that is, when it is off your guitar signal passes directly between the two connectors for input and output , not deteriorating the sound when the pedal is not used.
INPUT - The pedal turns on only if you enter the input jack , located on the right.
POWER - A 9 -volt DC battery accessible by unscrewing the 6 screws on the back cover, or via external power supply 9 to 15 volts, negative center .
If you leave the plug of the external power switched on, the battery is not included .
