The acoustic Parlor guitar model, was born around the turn of the 19th Century. This type of instrument was equipped with a rather small body and it was used mainly for vocal accompaniment, this probably comes from its name, Parlour (or Parlor), which translates to "living room". Today, this model is experiencing a revival, especially in the hands of so many musicians who choose this form of fingerpicking for their instruments.
EKO Mia Parlor is a unique instrument, surprising us by its loud and powerful sound, surprising for a body so small compared to a Dreadnaught body size. The woods used are Solid Cedar for the top and Mahogany laminate for the sides and the back. One of the peculiarities of this guitar, is the position of the neck into the body at the 14th fret (instead of 12°), which makes it possible for an instrument of today to boast a tradition so ancient. The headstock is in classic Parlor (Slotted) style with Vintage mechanics.
This new 2012 release of the popular three-channel Triple 6 head adds new features to this DV Mark top-of-the-line tube head. Like the previous version, it offers three completely independent channels and 120 watts of pure tube tone from two massive KT88 tubes. We've added “hi-gain” switches on channels 2 and 3 that allow you to toggle the amp between Bad Boy 120 tonality and the more aggressive Triple 6 gain levels. Rock and metal guitarists need look no further! We've also added MIDI ports to the already multi-function footswitch! The footswitch that is included with all DV Mark three channel heads (Bad Boy 120 and Triple 6) switches channels, activates the Solo function (fixed boost), and controls the FX loop... Plus it automatically memorizes the configurations you choose and stores them in memory until the next power-on. And in the new release we've added MIDI ports for greater switching options.
The Triple 6 has a built-in system that automatically biases AND matches the output tubes (if the tubes are within 20%)! No more trips to your service tech for biasing! Our unique patent pending Advanced Tube Control System allows you to hook up to the optional DV Controller to collect cool and useful information such as power amp voltages, bias current, tube life and more! This feature is unique to DV Mark!

The Costalab Natural Drive MKII is a pedal built on two cornerstones: dynamic and expressiveness. Its circuit is based on more traditional network of distortion with symmetrical clipping. The presence of germanium diodes gives a vintage flavour, very round and full of harmonics. The guitar tone is not modified in any way, even with the sustain set to the max, using the volume control of the instrument or just playing with dynamics very light, you can return to the clean sound, viceversa, using it with a energetic playing, the Natural Drive Mark II responds by producing a distorted sound rich and incisive.
The feeling that results is the same that you get playing with the old single-channel tube amp, pushed at maximum volume. Once you reach the right dynamic feeling, the expressiveness of the guitar player is made very prominent. Despite the high level of distortion reachable, the pedal keeps silent thanks to the excellent arrangements made to the circuit and to the selection of the best components. The tone control is of the DTC, that is Dynamic Tone Control. Basically it interacts with the gain control: when using high levels of distortion, the sound becomes rich and open, so the tone should be set accordingly, on the contrary, with few gain, the sound is more closed and less harmonious, by opening the tone it compensates for this natural feature.
The Natural Drive MKII is equipped with a Class A buffer always on, characterized by high input impedance. This makes it possible to save every detail of the sound, giving definition and room between the notes, moreover, it can easily reject radio interference. In addition, the Natural Drive MKII is equipped with a system against ground loops. In order for the system is operating properly, however, you need to power the pedal with a specific power supply is not connected to other pedals (Boss PSA type or equivalent) or a power supply equipped with electrically isolated outputs. The unit is powered by 9 DC volts and is connected by the classic DC 2.1 mm plug with negative pole-center. The current draw is less than 20 mA. The unit can also operate with a 9-volt battery. In this case the circuit is on by the input jack. In order to save the battery life it is recommended to remove the input jack from the socket when you stop using it.
You can still keep the battery inside the pedal even when it is powered through the DC socket, for the external power supply system is able to automatically rule out the battery. The unit is 120x95x57mm not counting the knob and the jacks. The Natural Drive Mark II is entirely hand made in all its parts: the circuit is manually assembled, wired and tested one by one, the die cast aluminum box is hand pierced. When ready, each single model is 24 hours continuously tested in order to identify any defect.
